Hi everyone, I hope some can help me solve my problem. When I try to open the GFI Switchboard, it doesnt open, but the switchboard.exe is running on the task manager. What do you think is the problem? I dont have anti-cirus installed.

BTW as an additional info, I can only open it when my server went to fresh restart. and if I close the  switchboard or the mail security, it wont be open the second time I want to open it. IT is happening only on Mail Security, Mail Essentials is working fine.

Thank you guys in advance for the help.

Regards..

When you close the switchboard when you opened it after a fresh reboot, does the switchboard.exe remain in the task manager process list?

Do you have any file / process based antivirus software running? Please disable it temporarily.

Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System
Through ‘Advanced’ tab access the Performance Settings
Change to Data Execution Prevention tab
Enable "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"
Reboot the server

Does the issue persist?

I dont have any anti-virus installed in the server. And yes that is the current settings, the DEP already enabled. Thanks!

You can open a support case if you have a valid service level agreement for MailSecurity. The form to open a ticket is located here: http://support.gfi.com/Support/supportrequest.aspx?lcode=en

It might be easier to troubleshoot via that channel.
