I am using GFI Network Server Monitor 7.0 to monitor the CPU usage on a remote Windows Server 2008 machine.  I am tracking two CPUs.  Everything had been working just peachy for several months until last week.  I started receiving alerts that the CPU usage for the second CPU (CPU1) was over the max alert level.  In the body of the message it appears that the CPU is at 100% usage.

The CPU Usage History on the actual machine does not reflect a high utilization (never showing a datapoint over 20%).  I searched the Knowledge base and found a similar issue listed for Windows Server 2000 with a link to a hotfix for Windows Server 2003.  Nothing for 2008.

Any suggestions?
