Bulk exporting emails from GFI Archiver Wednesday, June 29, 2016 8:15 PM (permalink)
I'm looking for a way to easily export 500 - 750 mailboxes from GFI, by scripting or a tool creating for this purpose.
The standard Imopt/export tool can export entire mailboxes, but it seems a very lenghtly proces and looks like it isn't able to export all mailbox to a PST (with a name matching the archive) in 1 go.
Does any one has some experience in bulk exporting from GFI?

Ditto. I'm finding the export tool absolutely woeful. It takes FOREVER on a very well specified server, and often crashes meaning the whole process has to be restarted. I have around 1.2Tb of emails I need to get out, and I've been stuck at less than 100Gb for weeks now.

Any response from GFI on this?

Did you ever get a satisfactory response from GFI about bulk exporting?

        Export methods are listed here:
This guide has some useful information and some additional tools that can be used to export from SQL DBs.

I have 450 mailboxes that I have been exporting since December 2016; I have about 50 left to do as of today.  I am using the "GFI Archiver - MailboxRestore" tool on the server itself.  It takes forever, no lie!  I'm only exporting out of each mailbox 1/1/2015-11/1/2016 and leaving all remaining 5 years in the MailArchiver.
I haven't found any other way to do this any easier or faster.  I will check back here to see if anybody else comes up with a better solution.
          Good Luck!
