Hi,

I've configured a 'Check the availability of HTTP and HTTPS sites' monitoring check.

I want to check our Brightmail control center site to determine if one of the services has gone down by including the parameters:

Check that the page does not contain the following text: stopped

However it does not appear to work. We have tried different setup scenarios.

Problem is we even get website found if we provide the wrong authentication for the check.

Not sure if its something we are doing or whether we are trying to do something tha is just not possible.

thanks,

Huff

I think I figured out WHY this is happening, but I do not have a resolution.  Here is what I have discovered.

The field names that GFI uses are not customizable.  If the site does not use the exact field names that GFI uses (eg. "txtUsername") it does not log in correctly.  You are then dumped back to the login screen without the text you are looking for.

So, what I need to find out is, is it possible to edit the names of the fields that GFI uses to log in?  Perhaps a config or ini file?

Thanks.
