Status: offline 		I am EXTREMELY disappointed that GFI did not preserve the registry modification described in the following GFI article (http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID002726) when upgrading from ME12.

My company relies quite heavily on alternate/secondary SMTP addresses so that terminated users' email will go to someone other than being bounced back.

By not preserving this key, and it being nearly a week since I've upgraded, we've lost countless emails that should have been received.

Status: offline 		Unfortunately, as I've mentioned several times in the forum, no manual registry changes are retained during upgrades. This change from standard should have been documented under your change-control procedures.

You've possibly just hit the nail on the head with another issue logged on here.

Status: offline 		I humbly submit that GFI should know exactly what is different from their "base" registry settings and should display a list of differences before just removing or overwriting them on an upgrade. To do otherwise, when nearly every change or enhancement that customers request is met with "Change this key in the GFI registry..." is tantamount to corporate shirking of responsibility.
