Hi, is there a way to allow the users messenger but block the file transfers within?

Are you referring to MSN Messenger? If so, there is no way to allow this level of control within GFI WebMonitor.

IIRC you may be able to block the port for file transfers via ISA as I *think* it uses a different pot
