I have just downloaded the trail for MS so its the latest version of everything. Installed as VS mode on E2k.

The problem I notice is with the hourly checking for virus/profile updates. I have an FTP firewall which needs more advanced configuration to use than MS seems capable of (FTP passive/active simply wont do) However I have changed the setup to use HTTP. All appears good.....

If I visit each virus scanner and do a manual check for updates everything works fine. The files are downloaded and updated. However ALL automatic updates fail and I am sent an email telling me this:

Failed to connect to HTTP server.
Tries: 2
-------------------------------

Why does a manual check work and an automatic one not?

Can anyone enlighten me to why this is happening? And more importantly - how do I fix it?

Ahhh, well there is me being an idiot. I missed the KB article when I looked earlier. Found it now. Just had to change the "GFI updater" service credentials.
