After MA6 Update: Error: An error occurred due to old Database schema

Status: offline 		Hello,

we updated from MA5 to MA6.
So far I can see everything is working, I can browse the archived mails over "Browse" and new mails are stored.
But if I use Mailboxes -> Inbox only one page can displayed. If I want so switch to page 2 or ..... I get following error message:

Additional info: arithmetic exception, numeric overflow, or string truncation
At procedure 'BROWSEMESSAGESTAGS'


All databases were converted for MA6 without error. We have restarted the machine, but we got still the error.

Does someone have a solution for this error?

We use a Win2000 Server and MA6 20080828

Please do the following to solve this issue:


Warning: Always make a backup of the database before making any modifications to it! GFI will not be held responsible for the misuse of this procedure.

1. Download IBExpert from http://ibexpert.net/ibe/index.php?n=Main.DownloadFree. This application is also available here:  http://ftp.gfisoftware.com/temp/IBExpert.zip.
2. Install IBExpert Personal Edition and copy the following files to the \Program Files\HK-Software\IBExpert folder:
a) MailArchiver\Store\gds32.dll
b) MailArchiver\Store\ib_util.dll
c) MailArchiver\Store\icudt30.dll
d) MailArchiver\Store\icuin30.dll
e) MailArchiver\Store\icuuc30.dl
f) MailArchiver\Store\msvcr71.dll
g) MailArchiver\Store\msvcp71.dll
h) MailArchiver\Store\Bin\firebird.msg
i) MailArchiver\Store\Bin\UDF
3. Open services.msc and stop the GFI MailArchiver Store service.
4. Open IBExpert and click on Database > Register Database to open the Database Registration dialog.
5. Enter the following details in the Database Registration dialog and click OK:
a) Server = Local
b) Server Version = Firebird 2.0
c) Database File = <Navigate to your MailArchiver database FDB file>
d) User Name = sysdba
e) Password = masterkey
f) Client Library File = ..\Program Files\HK-Software\IBExpert\gds32.dll
6. Double click the FDB database name to open the connection to the firebird database.
7. Navigate to Procedures > _GETSENDER and double click it.
8. Select the Output Parameters tab and change the Charset of EMAIL to UNICODE_FSS.
9. Press F9 and OK.
10. Navigate to Procedures > BROWSEMESSAGES and double click it.
11. Select the Output Parameters tab and change the Charset of FROM to UNICODE_FSS.
12. Press F9 and OK.
13. Navigate to Procedures > BROWSEMESSAGESFA and double click it.
14. Select the Output Parameters tab and change the Charset of FROM to UNICODE_FSS.
15. Press F9 and OK. Close IBExpert.

This issue will be fixed in future builds of GFI MailArchiver 6 (after SR2).
