Status: offline 		How do I add a security application (Antivirus app) to the list that NSS recognizes? We're using Symantec Endpoint Protection and NSS tags every security scan with "No Security Applications Found".

GFI LANguard N.S.S does not support Symantec EndPoint Protection by default. However, please feel free to look at the security_updates.xml file file in the GFI LANguard N.S.S 8.0\Data folder. This file contains the options that are available so that you can configure your own check for a specific security application.

Before making any changes to this file I would recommend you make a backup copy.

Status: offline 		I was afraid of that....

I was able to figure out how to add it, along with its corresponding entries, to security_updates.xml.
