Hey all, Does anyone know if the new build of ME fixes all the stuff broken from 0826? I got through half the patches and went on vacation...when I returned I found three or four more patches. I decided to eschew patching for just upgrading to the new 1106 build this morning. The only fixes listed on GFI's KB for 1106 was: Article ID: KBID003675 Query keywords: builds, service release GFI MailEssentials 14.1 Service Release 2 (build 20091106) has been released and is available for download. Changes within this release include: - FIXED: Resolving of perimeter server MX IP addresses fails if domain MX points to a CNAME record. On 32bit systems, this causes the installation to hang during the Welcome screen. On Microsoft Exchange 2007, this issue affects the post install wizard.
- FIXED: When installing on Microsoft Exchange 2007, the installation copies certain files required by the post install wizard to the default GFI MailEssentials folder instead of the selected folder, causing the post install wizard to fail.

Looks like there might be a bit more broken, but I don't think this will affect you, IIRC.

I haven't run into that issue but ever since moving to 14.1 SR1 and even now on SR2, i'm getting the legit email blocked by the header checking module....it complains of different MIME TO and SMTP TO fields. Only thing I can see when it happens, is when the email recipients are split between internal AND external recipients. Sender sends to at least one user in my organization and at least one user outside of it. I did the whole troubleshooting thing, but GFI seems more eager to close the case. I can't easily reproduce it because once we send an email to the sender, it's in the auto whitelist. I can't keep begging people at other companies to help me reproduce the issue. I can see its happening on a regular basis, but can't narrow it down close enough or reproduce it for GFI's liking. There's a lot of things to like in 14.1 (finally able to tag AND redirect spam versus only tag OR redirect), but there's enough wrong under the hood. I'm going to keep with it hoping that the bugs will be worked out.

I noticed in another post that you might have got this licked - as in reproducible - but if you need any help, email me.
