Anyone know the reason I might be getting this error message.

1712: Document Conversion Error. Failed to read from registry. Please check for registry read access for the machine and account used.

The pdf is found sitting on the out\pending folder

We are running GFI Faxmaker for Exchange v 14.3 build 20090303. Am using the internal converter for pdf conversion and are using account with administrator permissions.

Status: offline 		Does the account running GFI FAXmaker Server service have access to the registry? For best result, ensure the account running FAXmaker is a member of Domain Admins. On the properties sheet of the service, on the log on tab, you should see Domain Name\account name.

We haven't had any more errors since the 14th September
The account running the service is a domain account and is in the administrators group so should have permissions to read registry.
This account is not in the domain admins group. is this still necessary ?

Status: offline 		The 1712 - message is a Registry read error and means the credentials running GFI FAXmaker could not read a value from the registry. Try changing the Log on as: in services for GFI FAXmaker FAX server to the Domain Administrator.
