Hi ive been unsecsessfully playing with ma6 for a while now, im trying to import archived emails from 2007 into a database called 2007 but when i try and import 3 months worth of emails (3 pst files)i get an error - "a large number of emails have a date that dose not match the date ranges" ive tryed a few times with diffrent months but always the same , by my maths its always around 100,000 emails the emails are in the correct time frame i can see by opening the pst in outlook , or if i start with the pst that fails any help would be apreciated i only have 3 days left on my evaluation

This means that too many emails that are not in the date ranges specified in the Import Service configuration. What you need to do is look at the first part of the file names in the GFI\MailArchiver\MAIS\Unclassified folder and create or assign a new archive store for those emails. The first part of the file will be YYYYMM. Once you have the new archive store(s) created and assigned then you need to move the files from the Unclassified folder to the MAIS\Queue directory.

That is what is appears to be. If you open the .envelope file you can see the header of the message to confirm. So it appears that message itself might be spam so what i would do is create a store that goes from 1800 to the date your emails starts and monitor what goes in to that store and keep it if you want.
