First of all, I'm using the last build available, I also removed the Anti-Virus Software from the server, restarting every service even re-register the ASP_Net...

To make things even worst, I'm only archiving the Exclusion Users.

When trying to insert a new User on the Exclusions List I always get a timeout page with this argument:

Server Error in '/MailArchiver' Application.

Request timed out.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Request timed out.

Source Error:

Hello bsilvestre

Can you please explain at what moment the error is displayed? Is that happening when you click the drop-down or when you click Add? Did you try to add an email address?

Hi Rodion,

It's very slow when I click the drop-down menu but this timeout happens just when I click "Add". I Tried adding an email also, but  happens the exact same thing.

I recall this started to happen when we removed about 150 users from the exceptions list, after that trying to add a new user/email to that list resulted always in timeouts. we upgraded to the last build available hoping this would go away but still persists.

I still haven't got any answer from GFI regarding this matter. I am unable to insert new users on the Exceptions list, I have already opened a ticket and didn't have any answer to this!

Hello bsilvestre

How complex is your Active Directory structure? Is that a simple domain, tree or forest?

Where is the global catalog (GC) located?

How many mail-enabled users do you have in your domain/forest in total?

The AD is not very complex, max 2 or 3 sub-Organization Units, just one domain.

we have about 270 mail-enabled users, but we are only archiving 80 mailboxes.
