Hello everybody!

I´m experiencing a problem when my company users send faxes with the format [fax:]. The error says: TNEF to MIME conversion is failing on the FAXmaker Fax Server machine. Make sure that MAPI is installed by installing Outlook. Restart IIS after installing Outlook. P.S. Do not install Outlook on same machine where Exchange is installed.
Nevertheless, when they use OWA, it´s works fine!
The fax server has installed the Outlook client (not installed on exchange server), I have restarted the IIS and restarted the server, but the error persist.

Any idea?

Can you confirm that the Microsoft Outlook client installed on the GFI FAXmaker server machine is configured and has a valid Outlook profile?

Hi Mark,

Yes we installed Microsoft Outlook on the Faxmaker machine, but it was Hungarian, and that was the problem. You have to install an English version of Outlook or Office.
