HI,
I installed the GFI Webmonitor2 on ISA 2004 Enterprise Edition in array configuration, but the GFI web filter is not on the ISA server and the http://monitor.isa doesn't open. What could the problem be? I'll be greatful for any help.
Thanks

Can you see Gfi WebMonitor filter as registered web plugin in ISA server?
What proxy server IP address:port do you use in your IE when connecting to http://monitor.is?

I give you a more detailed description of the problem:
IÆve installed 1 ISA Server 2004 Enterprise with ISA server services and Configuration Storage Server, 1 ISA Server 2004 Enterprise with ISA server services only and I connect them in an array. After installing GFI WebMonitor neither the first ISA server nor the second one can connect themselves to Configuration Storage Server with the message æServer Unable to update the configurationÆ.
In the Alert section IÆve found this alerts:
- Web filter 'GFI WebMonitor2 filter' is not installed on this server. Install the filter and then restart the Firewall service.
- Network Load Balancing inconsistency was found on some networks. Traffic might not be routed properly
But the filter is in the add-in section and the NLB service work properly before installing WebMonitor.
What I can do?

Thanks

'GFI WebMonitor2 filter' mention in alert shows that you had installed webmonitor2 before... and probably it was not uninstalled correctly

Regarding
æServer Unable to update the configurationÆ
I encountered this as well Iam looking into this problem now... This problem might of course be reason for "Network Load Balancing inconsistency was found on some networks"

NOTE following information is valid only till 12.8.05 (afterwards you have to apply new build):

If you didn't uninstall WebMon, download fixed dll and replace same file in your ISA directory:

ftp://ftp.gfisoftware.com/temp/Netmon/del/EEFirstFix/WebMonPlg.dll

afterwards run manually from command line and from ISA directory this commands:
1.: regsvr32 webmonplg.dll /u
1.: regsvr32 webmonplg.dll

Then restart Firewall&Check if WebMon plugin is installed and enabled from ISA2004EE configuration.

new installation which should work also on ISA2004 Enterprise Edition is here:
ftp://ftp.gfisoftware.com/temp/Netmon/del/EEFirstFix/webmonitor3.exe

This information is valid till 13.7.05.(new build will be available after that adding email alert to administrator and fixing monupsrv problems on some isa servers)

Hi,
I've followed what you've said me and now it works.
I have some consideration/doubt:
1- WebMonPlg.dll wasn't in ISA directory. But after copying and registering it, WebMon works Correctly
2- Is this an evaluate copy? In this case, How Many days I have before expiring?
3- WebMon works correctly only for a server at once. Is this a correct behaviour?

Thanks for all

1-did you apply .dll fix or fixed new Build ?
2-yes, 30 days.. etended 90 days is availabe per request.
3-yes, it is registers on Array but works/monitors only on array members where you run installation. Monitoring is then done per server. Unregistering of webmonitor from 1 array member means unregistering it from all Array members. That just unregisters and disable this Array webproxy addon... to remove webmon files from other array members, you will have to go to control panel add\remove programs and uninstall webmonitor from all PC where you installed WebMonitor before.
