Hi
I have just installed GFI Web Monitor, on to our ISA 2004 server, it sits on a windows 2000 server with S/P 4, and is in the active domain, but it's not on the DC
When I load up GFI Web Monitor the user is always shown as unauthenticated! is this something I need to set up in ISA 2004 server or am I missing something in GFI??

Your help is most appreciated

GfiWebMonitor gets user name from ISA server.. i.e. if user authenticated with ISA server in order to get web pages the you should see his name even in http://monitor.isa.
Solution: Force user authentication IN ISA outgoing web connections (in ISA2004 you can do it by configuring local networks where you can enable proxy listener)

In some cases when you have on your network programs which can not authenticate for some reason you can not force authentication in such case you have to make rules in such way that
web rules will use user's loging names not IPs allowing access some sites.. like that ISA will see that URLS can be allowed by it needs authentication and it will ask user's browser to suply this information for that tcp/ip connection. If there will be some general IP or any user rule ISA will not initiate authentication.
If you can stick with first option its more safe as well.
