Hello.

EMS Build 20060914

EMS RP Build 20060913

EMS RC Build 20060913

When running the RP and select the data source I get the error "Database Structure not correct". I go back into Events Manager and reconfigure the database and it gives me the same error, but I get the option to update the database so I click OK. Update Successfull. I go back to RP and I receive the same error. Go back to Events Manager and receive the same error with the option to update.

I haven't deleted the database yet, but that will be the next step unless someone can provide another suggestions as to why this would not be working.

Love the program so far.

Hello,

Do you know whether the database you are currently using was originally created by ESM Build 20060914 or whether you are using an old DB created by a previous build? The update mechanism on your current build might have encountered a problem when updating the DB structure (created by an older ESM Build). To check if this is the case you can do the following:

(1) Open ESM configuration and through the Database Options configure it to use a new DB. You can do this by simply changing the database name to a non existing DB (for eg. myESMDB).
(2) Now Open RP and set it up to use the newly created DB, in this case myESMDB.

If at this point you do not get the same error, then it means that your original DB was somehow corrupted during the first upgrade process, in which case you can delete the old DB and continue using the newly created DB.

Let us know if that helps.

Hi Joe,

I'm glad that solved your problem.  Should you have any other queries during evaluation we would be glad to help you out. Also on behalf of my team I wish to thank you for the positive feedback.
